Christie N. Green is a landscape architect, an author and a hunter in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She hunts and fishes in New Mexico and Alaska, her two home states, and every print in the collection begins as a photograph she took there.

Moonlight Elk: One Woman’s Hunt for Food and Freedom (University of New Mexico Press) is the first in a trilogy, and a finalist for the 2025 New Mexico Book Awards. Salmon Dreaming follows. The passages on the hang tags are drawn from these books. She is a licensed landscape architect, PLA and ASLA, and works through Radicle in Santa Fe. The mission of christie nell is to inspire reverence for and stewardship of the Earth.
